Preamble
The officers and members of the Adamson University Alumni Association are entitled to fair, honest, responsible and accountable that works in an atmosphere of mutual respect and dignity. Accordingly, the association has adopted this code to:

Set the standards of behavior to which the officers and members should aspire.

Provide guidance to officers, members, including the university representatives in their services to the association.

Promote and maintain professional, social and cultural ethical conduct.
The Adamson University Alumni Association has adopted this Code of Ethics, which is applicable to the officers and members of the association, and representatives of the university. The Code reflects the association’s commitment not only to uphold the law but to protect the association’s interests while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct. It is intended to supplement the policies of the Association.
The adoption of core values, which applies to all officers and members are contained in the following pledges:
Members shall uphold the integrity, loyalty and dignity of the association by:
1. Being honest and impartial, and serving with dignity;
2. Striving to increase the prestige of the association, and,
3. Supporting the members in their career and professional advancement.
Integrity: Our reputation rests on honesty, fairness, and treating everyone with respect.
Honesty. We are honest with all to whom we interact.
Fairness. We promote consistency, equity and non-discrimination in decision-making, which is based on the merits of an issue, including facts and reasoned opinions, etc.
Service: We provide the highest levels of service to our association, the university, and all alumni members. We are prepared to make decisions when necessary for the best interest of the association.
This Code serves as a basis for ethical behavior and decision-making in the conduct of association's work. Alumni members are strongly encouraged to follow the guidelines set up by this Code.
